Abstract Screening Criteria

✓ Inclusion Criteria

  • Study Design:

    Must be a Randomized Trial (including pilot or feasibility studies)

  • Cancer Type:

    Any type of lung cancer is eligible

  • Interventions:

    All interventions targeting fatigue or vitality improvement, including but not limited to:

    • Medications (when specifically targeting fatigue)
    • Nutritional interventions
    • Acupuncture
    • Touch therapy
    • Exercise programs
    • Counseling
    • Other therapeutic approaches

    Note: Look for terms such as "psychosocial," "mood," or "quality of life" in abstract

  • Comparison:

    Must compare two or more treatments. Can include:

    • Active treatment vs. active treatment
    • Active treatment vs. sham/placebo
    • Active treatment vs. waiting list
    • Active treatment vs. usual care
  • Language:

    All languages accepted

✗ Exclusion Criteria

  • Study Design Exclusions:
    • Non-randomized studies
    • Study protocols
    • Single arm studies
    • Retrospective studies
  • Population:

    Studies focusing on children

  • Intervention Type:
    • Treatments primarily targeting cancer where fatigue is only an adverse event
    • Erythropoietin (EPO)
    • Darbepoetin
    • Red Cell Blood transfusions
  • Publication Type:
    • Conference proceedings
    • Abstracts only
    • Posters
    • Any publication without full text available
